Fully Supported Doula Package

  • I have seen significant improved outcomes with clients who prepare for their birth through education.

This is the best online childbirth courses I've found. Parents come away knowing all about physiology , intervening intervening, and patient ADVOCACY.

20+ hours of online, self-paced, full childbirth education course. Taught by Intentional Birth and includes education, advocacy skills, movement and nutrition suggestions, plus workbook.

  • In your home or over Google meet, we will:

-Discuss your values and birth plans

-Review what labor might look like, sound like, and how we might respond to each stage

-Practice positions for optimal baby/mother positioning and for pain management during labor

    -Role play self-advocacy tools

-Meditate and do a fear release exercise(s)

-Create postpartum plan and discuss support

I also hope to learn more about your story and personal situation. How do you want me to support you? Do you have any past experiences that I should know about to help you better?

  • I come to your home with my massage table table, low lights, aromatherapy, crystals, and music. You relax as I hover my hands over your body and regulate your energy. Babies in the womb seem to love Reiki!

  • As a Body Ready Method Pro®️ I can assess your body and give your tools to help optimize alignment for birth, everyday living, and comfort in the pre and postnatal period.

  • I'm always available via call or text. You can text me at any time (literally) and I will respond in a timely manner. Most people text me before/after an appointment and/or as questions, screenings, tests, etc. come up. Keep me in the loop with your appointments and provider visits.
If there are things I don’t know, I will dig around or ask my village of support people.

  • Beginning at week 38, I'm on call for your birth. If you happen to go into labor before 38 weeks, please call me. I will do my best to be there.

I will come whenever you want me to during labor. I will leave my house within one hour when you tell me to come.

I will stay with you until your baby comes (unless we decide that you're okay for a while-remember, you're in charge here). I need to be able to give you my best work, so if labor is extra long (i.e. I've been with you over 18 hours) I may take a nap or leave to rest. If we get to that point, we will decide if I should trade off with your partner, or call my backup.

I have a whole bag full of tools (physical and metaphorical). Some physical tools: I have The Birth Sling, massage oil, a heater, homeopathy, essential oils, a Rebozo, a fan, a speaker, heating pad, etc.

My knowledge and my hands are of course what I use the most.

I will be with you two hours after your baby is born (or until you’re settled).

I often (with client’s permission) take pictures here and there of labor and the process. Of course being your doula is my priority, so I won't forgo supporting you for photographing. I am not a professional photographer and will be taking pictures with my phone (likely in low light). The feedback is that these are fun to look at and have. I love looking at pictures of my births. These will be shared with you via Google Photos.

  • The first visit will be within 1-3 days after birth. We will debrief about your birth, write down details of your birth story if you'd like, see how breastfeeding is going, and I can help briefly with light housework.

The next visits will be more flexible but are usually before 6 weeks.
We will again talk about breastfeeding, screen for PMADS, and I can help with some light housework. My priority here is helping you heal and supporting you through the transition into parenthood-supported parents are better able to love and care for their babies.

Postpartum Doula Support

  • $40/hour (evenings and weekends), $45/hour during regular business hours

  • 2-3 hours during the day or evening, 6-8 hour sessions overnight

  • Usually in my postpartum doula work I take care of the parents so that they can better care for the baby. I help you process and talk about the birth, I check on breastfeeding, your healing, how the baby's doing, etc. You let me know if you need food, rest, conversation, a shower, or cleaning. Then I can clean, do laundry, food prep, vacuum, etc.

Or you can choose to spend some postpartum time doing Reiki or Body Ready movements (gentle exercises designed for the postpartum time).

Evenings and overnights are my preferred times, but I can make daytime work, as well.
